Night Trains - Continued

A - Luxury Class Single Sleeper

Also known as "Grande Class". Requires 1st class ticket or 1st class railpass. 1 bed room with private shower & toilet. Includes dinner, breakfast, welcome drink, newspapers, & toiletries. Secure locking door.

B - Luxury Class Double Sleeper

Also known as "Grande Class". Requires 1st class ticket or 1st class railpass. 2 bed room with private shower & toilet. Request either bunk-beds or 1 large bed. Includes dinner, breakfast, welcome drink, newspapers, & toiletries. Secure locking door.

C - 1st Class Single Sleeper

Requires 1st class ticket or 1st class railpass. 1 bed room with sink. Includes welcome beer or bottled water (see above table for info on included food). Secure locking door.

D - 1st Class Double Sleeper

Requires 1st class ticket or 1st class railpass. 2 bed (bunk-beds) room with sink. Includes welcome beer or bottled water (see above table for info on included food). Secure locking door.

E - 2nd Class Single Sleeper

Only available on Hotel trains and other select overnight trains as per table above. 1 bed room with sink. See above table for info on included food. Secure locking door.

F - 2nd Class Double Sleeper

Also known as "T2". 2 bed (bunk-beds) room with sink. 33% smaller compartments than 1st class double. Only available on select overnight trains. See above table for info on included food. Secure locking door.

G - 2nd Class Triple Sleeper

3 bed (bunk-beds) room with sink. Includes welcome beer or bottled water (see above table for info on included food). Secure locking door.

H - 1st Class Couchette

Generally only available on overnight trains within France. Requires 1st class ticket or 1st class railpass. 4 bed (bunk-beds) room. Security varies depending on train and fellow travellers in compartment.

I - 2nd Class Couchette

6 bed (bunk-beds) room. Security varies depending on train and fellow travellers in compartment.

J - 1st Class Seat

Requires 1st class ticket or 1st class railpass. Some overnight trains have special reclining seats. No security.

K - 2nd Class Seat

Some overnight trains have special reclining seats. No security.
